Bought their highest level of protection, Platinum, for over $3500!! Denied all 3 first claims I made, being an auto technician, I demanded to re inspect with them, and they said, from one photo, below the vehicle, that they could tell my ALUMINUM RADIATOR was rusting/corroding!?

At 50000 miles? Aluminum rusts? I had a customer rep review it and share pictures with me, and it does not prove anything! How does aluminum rust?

The company wouldnt give me the decency of a re inspection. I cannot say enough bad things about the company, would not recommend at all!!!Please avoid at all costs.

Monetary Loss: $3500.

Location: Ridgewood, New Jersey

Hm sounds like jpr is one of those scammer workers for this company. Aluminum does NOT rust it's corrosion research the difference before sounding like an ***.

This company is full of scams, i work at a repair facility and even by following all of the little protocols they have and yes it's covered send us a photo send a photo and oh denied the repair was already done, there a scam company that pays minor claims and denies the larger more extensive covered or not they'll find 20 reasons why they don't, customer service tells customer oh go ahead have the repair done and than have them call us to submit a claim and get paid, denied. Phone call was recorded with them doing it still denied, worthless *** bags.

Ok people tell us the whole story not "i am pissed of that they wont cover it" please give details on why they wouldnt and what the curcmstances that caused the falure. To me it just sounds like every one had a bad experience and no one is willing to tell the truth about what really happened.

4rings97. Wow your vague.

I know for a fact that they would sent out an adjuster to view your claim. And yes aluminum does rust and not one automotive warranty covers rust.

WOW! What a bunch of 'ignorant' (JPR, etc.) folks who don't want the Truth no matter what?!? a.) NO, Aluminum does NOT Rust, ever! (RUST is Oxidation!) ONLY Steel Rusts, except of course for Stainless Steel. b.) Aluminum does Corrode, which is a Chemical Reaction in certain situations, like Galvanic Corrosion, Chemical-Metal interaction, etc. (Ex.: Terminals on your Auto Battery Corrode, but, mainly that's removable and doesn't harm the Terminals or the Battery, just the ***- nectivity, i.e.: your must Clean your Battery Terminals every so often to insure that the Electricity to your Car isn't in- terrupted, in both directions...) IF a Radiator 'Corrodes' prematurely, it's a fault of the original Mfr'r, (OEM) and should be covered, especially at 50k miles, as the Paint and /or Plating (Anodizing) from the Factory SHOULD keep it O.K. for Hundred's of Thousands of miles, etc. I'd make a Claim w/ the Dealer and/or the Manufacturer, etc. -jbmatth.

P.S. Since the problem is because of the OEM's failure to produce a part that doesn't corrode prematurely, INDS might initially try to exclude it from coverage, but, upon a well written complaint, you should be able to get it replaced... Threaten to Sue; (to recover all Attny's Fee's, amount Paid for Warranty, plus Damages, etc...!) in writing, get an Attorney to write the Letter; use their own Contract against them, as it states: "Failure: refers to the Failure of a defective part or faulty workmanship as supplied by the Manufacturer or Dealer..." We have a Monthly Legal Shield Coverage that we pay so that we can get a Lawyer to write us a Letter to handle these type of things, costs < $20/month, etc...

"This company is criminal. I took my car in due to AC failure.

The diagnostic costs are not covered, even though this is mentioned nowhere in the contract and is not listed as an exclusion. How are they supposed to fix something without diagnosing it? I will never do business with these criminals again" In responce to your comments Every warranty company "IN THE WORLD" including factory warranty requires the customer to authorise tear down and diagnosis. You will end up paying for this time if your falure is not covered.

This is not "criminal".

In the event that the component is covered under the warranty that you purchaced it will be replaced and all you pay is your deductable and the warranty covers the tear down time. Take the time to read what your buying and ask your dealer questions if you dont understand.

I just cancelled my warranty with these people. A friend of my husbands used to sell this stuff and told me it is a scam.

They have a whole department of people who look for reasons not to pay a claim. When I called the company to cancel all I got was a lecture about how it is an A rated insurance company, blah, blah, blah. They even give you the run around when you want to cancel. They read directly from a script, just to keep you making your payments.

Retention Specialists they are called, too bad I can't get back any of the $2000 I have paid into it. :(

If you are a tech, then you wouldnt be asking how aluminum can rust or corroded. i think you need to leave automotive repair work to the professionals and find a job flipping burgers.

i find it funny that people are complainging about their issues but not giving all the info. there is always 2 sides to every story.

I can't explain the fustration this company has brought apond me as a young kid with a newborn on the way I was trying to do things the right way.Bought a car purchased a extended warrenty from this company not just anyone the supreme coverage warrenty up to 100,000 miles eventally had issues and they didnt stand by the claim after i provided all paper work requested this company is *** and has certin procedures that in view raise a red flag as they have no intentions of finding the truth of the claim instead rather have it denied probably thinking customer at this point will probably out sorce someone to fix there car our that will never follow up with a lawsuit.

WRONG!

If anyone would like to email me about details I would be happy to expain and show details about my issue.

Interstate National Dealer Services is a scam! I would strongly suggest avoiding this company and their products such as Warranty Direct.

They apparanty decline any warranty service requests automatically, and place the whole blame on the consumer.

I spend over $1500 on them, for a warranty that is worthless.

I had this plan last year and although it took me about 6 weeks, dozens of phone calls, emails and faxes- from both me and the dealership- they actually paid 2 claims for repairing a Voyager tranny. I know, hard to believe!

NDW was a pain in the *** to deal with but they did pay off, and when the car was totaled a couple months later, I did get about $350 refunded.

Not what I expected, but at least it was something. Definitely pay monthly- so you can stop paying if you get nowhere with claims.
